Mike Davis interviewed by Manufacturers’ Monthly about ORG
Recently Mike Davis spoke to Manufacturers’ Monthly about the potential usage of renewable gas in manufacturing sectors.
The discussion was wide-ranging, beginning with ORG’s mission to “deliver renewable gas directly to consumers via existing gas networks”, by developing 10 large-scale bio hubs over the next decade. They then moved on to discuss the benefits of biomethane such as its “potential to reduce costs, support sustainability goals with minimal emissions, and offer byproducts like biogenic CO2”. Moreover, they discussed how biomethane is a better option than hydrogen for decarbonising industrial and manufacturing emissions due to hydrogen currently being too expensive and biomethane being a complete “drop-in” replacement for natural gas.
Mike also talked about ORG’s collaboration with Jemena, where we have “entered into an MOU to deliver three projects around the NSW gas distribution network”.
